My mother has been diagnosed with congential heart failure. She is 81 years old and went through 2 operations within the past month. She had open heart @ 17 years ago and is not in the best of health. What is the life span for this? What would be the best way for her to help herself as having this disease? She is on a nitro patch, had diabetes and like I said, not in the best health. Please advise.
