This during the past week I spoke to my mother who is a very active and in pretty good health, she and my dad walk at least 5-6 miles each day sometimes up to twice a day morning and night. My folks have been doing this for years now. But after speaking to my mom a lot of what I have been reading on this web site sounds like problems she is currently experiencing. She said she hadn't taken her Liptor for approximately two weeks and had just recently began taking it again, but has started experiencing pain from her groin area down her legs settling in her hip and joints. This has caused her much pain and swelling in the knee and leg. Today when I spoke with her she said that she is getting small lumps in her legs. She to feels that this could be caused by the Liptor she called her Dr. after suffering for approximately week and half with this pain and swelling she ask him if this could be due to the Liptor. He to said it doubt it and told her to take Calcium as Liptor sometimes caused Calcium loss and to contine her medication which is another nine days and take the Calcium for the next two weeks. After reading the symptoms from the above listed cases I to feel that this is probably this is due to the Liptor. I too have taken Liptor in the past and recently stopping taking it and have experienced similar symtoms with week muscles in my legs and pain generating up and down my hips and legs. I will be advising my Dr. and my mother's Dr. that we will be stopping the use of this product and check into the use Nicine as an alternative. Here's hoping that Liptor side effects are not permanent.
