I have been taking Lipitor for several years, dosage 10 mgm but after a heart attack in November and three way bypass surgery the same month the doctor upped the dosage to 40 mgm. I have the dry eyes, red spots on my arms, back pain and now have to see a kidney specialist for protein showing up in my urine. anyone else have the urine symptoms? I asked my family doctor if this could be caused by the Lipitor, he was doubtful, but I am not so sure. When I see the kidney specialist I will ask him.
