Yes, I discontinued Lipitor four months ago. After taking it for a few months I began to lose movement in my left arm and shoulder. I took myself off the drug, and have been in physical therapy since last February. My arm is better now than it was, however, I still cannot raise it above my head without a good deal of pain. I really believe that the Lipitor has caused this, and I'm very unhappy about my doctor. When I told her I was experiencing muscle pain, she denied that it could possibly be from the drug. She also failed to warn me about eating grapefruit, which I did every morning. I only hope that the pain will eventually go away (for myself and everyone else who is suffering from side effects).
