I'm not aware of any food that is known to increase HDL. Foods high in fiber help keep total cholesterol down and may be helpful in elevating HDL.
A diet low in fats, especially saturated fats should be effective, along with regular aerobic exercise.
Animal products are high in saturated fats and contain little or no fiber, while plant-based products (except palm/coconut products) are generally low in saturated fats and usually contain fiber.
