I've been taking lower level doses of Lipitor for several years, but my doctor has been concerned about the gradual increase of my c. levels, so I am up to 60 mg a day. I started this 60 mg about 3 weeks ago and now experience leg aches and tired legs and muscle cramps in my calfs, like charley horse, in the night. I haven't changed anything except medicine.

I have NEVER had this prior to the increase in the doseage and I wonder if that is a side effect of Lipitor or statins in general. Any ideas?
