I agree with the doctor. I had triple bypass work done in January and my cholesterol was a little high at my last check-up, so the doctor is having me try Pravachol. I have some uncomfortable side effects, so I'm meeting with him next week and will ask if he will go along with this Chinese approach for a month or two -- to see what happens. I'm hoping to find a brand that has a good reputation for consistency. I'm finding that some of the more compassionate doctors are considering alternative treatments, which is a reasonable approach to health care. Man-made drugs are not necessarily the answer to every problem. Onward and Onward... let's use what works with minimal side effects.
