I am 48 and I have been taking Lipitor for about 3 months. I have experienced pain in both elbows. More severe on my right, inside elbow tendon. Don't know if I can say it is the Lipitor but because I do occasionally play golf and tennis. Thought I had "tennis elbow" or "golfers elbow". Problem is its not healing.
As an aging athlete, I expect injuries to take longer to heal but the tender elbows simply have not improved. I have wondered if the Lipitor either caused the tenderness and pain or is slowing down a normal healing process.
I plan to stop taking the Lipitor in a couple of weeks and see what happens. Has anyone else had similar issues?
