After 54 years of a SAD Diet (Standard American Diet) I have been 3 weeks on your reccomended Diet. I have lost 12 lbs out of 49 I needed to lose. I intend to maintain this diet for life.
I assume over this 54 years my arterys have buit up a considerable amount of plaque.
My question is assuming I get my cholesteral under 150 and maintain this diet, can this plaque be completely cleaned away to a leval of someone who had this healthy diet their whole lifetime. If so how many years would this take?
