Hi,
I have been reading some on different discussions of books that help people reverse heart disease and at the same time lose weight. ie Dr. McDougall and Dr. Ornish, each have these kinds of books. (Eat More, Weigh Less, etc.) What I guess I wanted to know is if there is other kinds of information in those books, if anyone has read them and if there is any more information that I could get than what is in this great website? While my overall goal is optimal health (triglyceride reduction and cholesterol lowering) I also wanted to drop weight.
What I am trying to avoid is the cost of buying these books only with the promise of losing more weight when already I have lost about 1.5 to 2 lbs a week since finding this website 11 weeks ago and changing my lifestyle. I just have yet to get my blood checked to see any change I have had on lowering my numbers.
One thing for sure, I feel really good! :)
