In the New England Journal of medicine, (November 29, 2001) an article showing studies that certain vitamins, b,with a cholesterol lowering drug helped reduced vessels from re-blocking. Also that niacin with cholesterol lowering drug reduced heart attacks in patients with CAD. The combinations were greater than with the cholesterol lowering drug alone. It also claimed that large doses of antioxidents interfered with the niacin therapy gains and the benifits of C &E are not there. This is more confusing to me . What do you say about it all?
