I take Lopressor for blood pressure and I recently heard that I shouldn't eat licorice with some medications. Should I not eat red licorice if on heart medication? What is this inference about licorice? Does it interfere with some medications and is actually licorice, as in black licorice, and not "Twizzlers" that could cause problems?
