Earlier, I posted that I successfully avoided going on cholesterol medication by dropping my total reading through diet (no drugs). I also lost a lot of weight in the process and am at my top weight to be within my BMI range now. Recently, I've awakened in the middle of the night and was very cold and had chills, even though the room temperature didn't seem to be all that cold. I don't have any other symptoms that might lead me to believe that I'm coming down with something. Could just the fat reduction in my body in such a short time cause this? I did feel that my weight loss was too fast and perhaps I was not getting enough fat in my diet... could that cause these chills now? It seems to make sense in regard to just generally feeling colder but I don't understand the chills.

I hope that this is on topic for this board because I'm trying to find out if this is a possible result of trying to follow the prescribed diet but not understanding all aspects well enough. Thanks!

Brad
