Hi,
I am wondering if there is a correlation between glucose intolerance and rapid heart rate? I've had a rapid heart rate problem on and off since 1993 (144-166), but it has gotten progressively worse to the point that I am now on a beta blocker to control it. My quality of life has gone down hill due to this. I went from training as a brown belt in Tae Kwon do to barely being able to make my bed with out my heart rate shooting up. The one thing I noted is that I was always thirsty even though I drink close to a gallon of water a day. I've had fasting glucose done, it was borderline. I'm female and 36. My feeling is that blood sugar can cause the rapid heart rate, am I correct?
Thanks
Tina
