I have only had one echo-card, and I have been told that I must be put on antibotics before going to the dentist. But are there other things I should know. Everyonce in a while I feel a thump-lump in my chest. Also, my murmur isn't often heard. Sometimes they don't hear it and other (like recently they can really hear it). What does this mean. Am I in any danger or under too much stress. I do get a EKG about once a year. My doctor says when she hears it she likes to check the EKG and make sure it is normal. But that is all the info I have ever been given. No preventive advise has ever been given. Or what it can do if it get bad. I have had it since I was 2 years old and I am 36 now.
