Subject: Bipass surgery

My father just had six way bi-pass surgery. He is finally out of the hospital after two weeks in MICU. Do you have any suggestions or resources about life after bi-pass surgery. Also, the Doctor told me and my siblings that we were in great risk of heart disease because it is genetic. I have to admit, I do not eat right, but after this I think it's about time to change my habits. I'm 26 years old and already have high blood pressure. Is becoming a vegetarian a good idea?
