When Sears' Zone diet first came out, I debated him on a radio program. When I asked him some specific questions on the research he claimed showed his plan was sound, he hung up on us.

Sears' Zone is, in my opinion, very hazardous to those who have heart disease and those who who would like to prevent it, especially persons with multiple risk factors (high cholesterol, high blood pressure, overweight, family history and diabetes). Since that's the population this discussion group is designed for, I strongly advise against it.
