What is the best or optimum aerobic (intensity 50,60,70,80,90%mhr) exercise in increasing HDL cholestrol and at the same time lowering normal (diastolic) blood pressure? Would exercising at 80 or 90% of my mhr for 45 minutes six days a week (NO CAD) be unhealthy, that is would I develop LVH, aortic anyrism, high blood pressure or any other heart disease? I was told that there are subfractions of HDL namely HDL2 and HDL3. Can you tell me more about these two subfractions of HDL and their normal limits? Thank you for your time. Bob
