Arlen/Ron, my doctors say that the benefit of nuts on Omega could be to raise HDL (the good cholesterol), wich would help to remove the bad cholesterol. But they all say that exercise does that too. I avoid nuts because of the fat they have. It took me many months for me to raise HDL with exercise, what for me is just 40 minutes a day of brisky walking. I also use flax seeds mixed with fruits like bananas and with rice/beans.
