Ricardo, The situation is all the more confusing after hearing a doc from Loma Linda U. talk about Avocados and temperate climate nuts (walnuts, etc.) having been found to contain substances that help to reverse atherosclerosis. I'm not that much of a nut fan - but using them in cooking would help make my diet a little more varied. Specifically - how bad are cashews? Hope someone can enlighten us.
