Dr. Pinckney, He used almost the same words of your answer: "The body makes HDL according to the amount of total cholesterol found, so when total cholesterol is lower, HDL will all also decrease. There is no evidence that low HDL in people with low total cholesterol is a valid predictor of risk." I am glad you agree with his oppinion. My oppinion: to raise HDL it is also key to exercise 30 to 40 minutes a day. My choice is to walk briskly outdoor or using a simple tread mill I have home for the rainning days, so I dont need to go to gyms. Many books mention walnuts and Para nuts that I mix to flax seeds as stated in an old post I sent to you.
