Javilo,
the numbers of equivalency are: 1 gram of fat = 9 calories. You mentioned 60 grams of fat, that multiplied by 9 = 540 calories of just of fat. That is too much for reversal and even for people on primary prevention. The recommended amount of fat depends of the amount of calories you need, that relates among other facts of the level of body activities, high, weight, etc. So if you need, for exeample of 2,000 calories a day, then the maximum of 10% of the calories from fat, recommended by Dr. Esselstyn (among others MD) would be 200 calories maximum from fat, that divided by 9 = 22 grams.
As you see, the amount of fat is really low. It is necessary to read labels all the time and to have a good strategy:to follow low fat diets, and I know that vegan diets are low fat due to the low fat of their ingredients.

Lets see what Dr. Pinckney says.

I just wanted to give you the oppinion of a regular member of this forum... and to show what I have learned here last months... but it is a knowledge that helped me to lower total cholesterol numbers, to loose weight, to lower BP and to feel better among other benefits.
