I take several supplements, including three that I found out contain soy oil in their nonessential ingredients and one that has fish oil in it. Now if I am not eating any extra oil in my foods, am I sabotaging myself by taking supplements that contain oil? One of these supplements are for enlarged prostate, and I take them because the medicine for that made me dizzy. One, CoQ10 is supposed to help my heart and replaces the depletion of this enzyme that statins are supposed to cause. Another is Alpha Lipoic Acid, which is an antioxident and really does keep my triglyerides down. My vitamin D has cod oil mixed with the vitamin or as part of its source. Anyway, I think I may take an extra two to three grams of oil as a result of taking these supplements. Ought I to be looking for non oily alternatives or simply drop them from my diet altogether?
