I had quintuple bypass surgery 9/2002. The only hastle is the medical side effects of all the medication you have to take. Here are a few of the problems to look for; do not tell the patient about these because they may fixate on them.
1. Depression
2. scared about breathing troubles, especially sleeping.
3. can't sleep in a bed for a few weeks.
4. Did I mention depression?

The worst is the guilt, that you did this to yourself. I'm still working on that.
