I can't add much to the good advice S B gave you. I was wondering if by "ag center" you mean county extension office? When I was planting my nine blueberry bushes they were a great source of information. If you haven't called them with your questions I would recommend that you do. The man who sold me the bushes told me to use Miracid but the county extention office told me not to. I use agricultural sulfur to lower the pH and I use my own organic compost as fertilzer. And as S B does I mulch with pine needles.
