Tell him no!

To keep rabbits out of your garden put up rabbit fence. I got mine from a hardware store. It was easy to put up. Chicken wire works too.

The wormlike designs in your leaves are probably leaf miners. I have had only minor problems with those and I just remove the affected leaves.

The tiny green specks on the back of your watermelon leaves are probably aphids. Last year I merely removed them with tweezers but I have heard that a hard stream of water directed at the problem area knocks them off. A friend who has gardened for years told me that all one really needs to do with aphids is just interupt their reproductive cycle and that merely removing them from the leaves takes care of that. The very best way to get rid of aphids is to use lady bugs. This year the lady bugs found my garden and I had no aphid problem. Had they not found their way to my garden on their own I would have bought some at the garden store.
