I have bought troy products for many years , untill yesterday.i have a 6 hp tiller that works quite well, a small 2 cycle tiller that works well. so when it came time to buy a new weed wacker, my thoughts were to go back to troy built.A mistake!!! The first gas string trimmer didn't start at all. Drove back to the store, and got a replacement with no questions asked at all. The replacement started and ran well , for two days.Took it to a troy built repair center, and got a notice that it would not be fixed, get a replacement.Well that meant another 100 mile trip, that would make 500 milesin all for two units. Well got the replacement, its a husgvarna, paid the extra 40 bucks and it ran like a dream.The attitude I got from troy, was that maybe I didn't know how to operate a two cycle engine. my outboard[one of them is two cycle] the weed wacker I used for years was two cycle, and the new one is also a two cycle. But there won't be any new troy products in my future!
