This is good news. It would have been terrible if huge stockpiles of nerve gas actually had been found. It would have increased the possibility of terrorists using these weapons against us. It would have also given us a multi-billion dollar expense in that we would have had to build facilities to properly dispose of the weapons. Officials who served with the group charged with hunting banned weapons said the violence in Iraq, coupled with a lack of new information, led them to fold up the effort shortly before Christmas, the newspaper reported.
