I just read you article and agree wholeheartedly. I knew Cody Wentz since we were both being babysat by my grandmother at a very young age. I grew up with him and love him like a brother, and I think that your article hits home, the National Guard shouldn't be expected to fight a war with the Army, Navy, and Marines "help." He didn't sign up for that, but he went because he knew that he had to, but I don't think that or any Guardsman knew what they were going into. I know many men from the 141st, and they all tell me the same story...that they only trained for the job assigned to them for less than one day, and they weren't told about it until they were already in Iraq. Pretty good leadership they had, pretty caring of them to send American boys and men out on suicide missions for Bush's oil. Thank you for your article Mr.Campos, we appriciate it.
