The party who is sensitive to a particular third party is the problem, because once a third party is large enough to have an affect, it's issues should be folded into the main party, at least to some extent. If you want the voters, you have to reprensent what those voters deem important. You can't say accept our dung because the other side dung is even smellier. When that happens, people will refuse to talk to you. The GOP ignored Perot's issues for the most part and the faction he represented took their ball and went home. If the Dems want that to happen, they can keep on keepin' on. It's not the third parties fault that the Dem's don't want to face tough issues.
