You can hear Nader in the statements of the present elections candidates for the very reason that he runs. He runs to get his issues in the debate and it works. If Democrats want the handful of voters who vote with their brains instead of what their party programmers tell them to vote for, then they better address the important issues. Gore lost the election because he ran a bad campaign and for the simple fact that even though it was extrememly obvious that Bush was an incompetent and underhanded scumbag, people STILL voted for him. If the Democrats can't convinve people that Bush shouldn't be President, then they couln't convince a child that grass is green. Nader makes a convienient scapegoat. As far as McCain goes, as a Republican he's not so bad, but like Clinton (both of them), he is a corporate lapdog.
