Well, I can't sign you up for my church, because I haven't made up one and am not interested. I follow One who already has His church, and it's not a big box where I have to follow all their rules, hate those who don't agree with me, and condemn them with labels and name calling.

I just got back from China, where I prayed everywhere I went. It's in these areas where the people are suppressed and do not have the freedom of "religion" that they very much appreciate the freedom of Christ that cannot be taken from them by governments or fearful religious people. I met with a man who spent 24 years in prison because of His love for God. He lost everything he had in those years, except his freedom in Christ. He has a peace that comes not from his political stance, but from God.

When someone speaks about the message of Jesus, why is it that you have to call them the same old name? Would you call Jesus that too? Don't you get tired and weary of the same old fearful song? Even Tom, who doesn't claim to be a "Christian" has more patience and understanding than that. Why is that?

Don't bother to answer me, it's not me that can help you.
