I knew about most of our oil coming from Canada and Mexico. Was sort of interested if anyone would mention it, and you did. Then again, there's Venezuela and Iran, two other countries we buy oil from. I can't wait for the Chevy Volt plug-in hybrid. It will be able to go 42 miles on the battery, before the small gas engine comes on. That covers me, except for a 1300 mile trip I take every year. That trip can be made by train, plane, or bus. Solar panels in my yard, used to charge a battery, hopefully will be used to charge the car when needed. No oil required, except for lubrication. Then they can all drink their oil, at least as far as my use is concerned.
