You were blaming the "In God We Trust" on McCarthy or rather on his "era." Now you are trying to make it sound like lawmakers were bullied into uniform application of the phrase onto all currency, like they really didn't want to do it but were afraid not to. That is just horsesh|t, and your reference does nothing to change that. Your historian is most likely a godless lefty with an agenda, or else you would not be reading him.

Whether it is constitutional or not depends on the rulings of judges and nothing else. Lefty judges will incorrectly rule that it is unconstitutional. Good, right-minded, conservative judges will rule to the contrary. Do you see why we need conservative judges?
