The science in the PM article is solid. I haven't found anything on the alarmist sites that is better. You're welcome to give post some links if you think you've found something better. And Popular Mechanics isn't exactly world net daily dot com.

However, you're missing the point anyway. Regardless of whether Bush was somehow behind the attacks or not, he definitely exploited them for political gain. It's similar to the Rechstag fire in 1933. One of my sources claims the fire was started by a Dutch communist (source = John Toland); the other one says the fire was started by Goering. (Source = Robert Payne). Regardless of whether the Nazis started the fire themselves or if it was the fault of the Dutch communist, the Nazis successfully exploited the hysteria for political gain.

Bush has done the same thing. He exploited 9/11 regardless of who was behind it.
