I've checked out the 9/11 conspiracy sites, and I don't buy them. The Popular Mechanics article successfully rebutted the conspiracies; I found it much more credible. That article is here:

I think bin Laden is a real person and he was behind the attacks. The timing of his video releases can best be explained by his wanting Bush to be in power. Bush has done everything bin Laden could have hoped for. Bin Laden needs to convince Muslims that the US is an enemy of Islam, and Bush invades and occupies two Islamic countries and our soldiers commit serious breaches of conduct in each country. Bin Laden is supplied with plenty of images of Muslims suffering at the hands of the US. Bin Laden has much more propaganda fodder than he would have had if Gore or Kerry were President.

Even if Bush probably didn't perpetrate the 9/11 attacks himself, he's certainly guilty of milking them for every bit of political gain possible; and he's guilty of war crimes every bit as serious as the 9/11 attacks. The War in Iraq is Iraq's own 9/11, except that theirs continues day after day.
