The other night I saw a clip from the Battle of the Bulge, in which one of our commanders ordered German prisoners lined up, and shot. The veteran interviewed said it was in retaliation for the Germans doing the same to our soldiers a few weeks prior.

That aside, I'd say we'd get more information out of our prisoners in this conflict will more intelligent interrogation methods.

How about all the new, very high tech functional MRI, and voice analysis machines, which can tell if a person's lying? They're not allowed in our courts as testimony, but in this case they might be as high as 98% accurate. That would be close enough for me.
