I like the comments of the scientists and professional people he talked with at the party. They're not happy with the repression the current government imposes on them, but they work around it. I'm sure they hope for a better government in the future.

One thing they don't want, as stated, is any invasion by a foreign power. They said they'd fight against any invading force, including ours.

They seem confident in their hope for a better future. We should leave it at that, but continue to monitor their nuclear program, and their threat to Israel, and us.
