Over 100,000 Patriots Converge on Capitol Hill to Promote Peace More than 100,000 people gathered at the nation's capitol this Saturday. to call for an end to the Iraq war. 160 Iraq war veterans and others were arrested after jumping a police barrier in an act of civil disobedience. Reflecting the overall split in American public opinion, around 1,000 counterprotesters were also in attendance, including (most likely) Sooright, John Hawaii, Moi, Razz and Jim-boob
