As I rode my bicycle around doing errands this morning, I saw more than a few brand new mega sized SUVs; Mercedes, Fords, GMCs, etc. I really wonder if the majority of Americans are buying the science that proves that their burning fossil fuels is what's causing these problems.

On the other hand, we could generate hydrogen pretty soon from solar, and use it to burn directly in these dinosaurs. Eventually, they'll come with fuel cells, which can be fueled by the hydrogen the owner produces from his or her own solar panels. There's hope.

The best solution is to have these trucks for rent on a convenient basis, for the few times/month that they're really needed. Kinda like a municipal Hertz. In NYC, they have Zip Cars. Why not Zip SUVs?
