They could care less for the laid off American workers. Perhaps they could have warned the American workers that if they weren't willing to work for lower wages, they would move their manufacturing to China. Who knows? Maybe our workers would agree, and take the necessary cuts.

On the other hand, that might mean a cut from, perhaps $25/hr, to $6. There's the problem.

Well, maybe not. I understand Japanese auto workers earn about what our UAW workers here do. And, as you know, they're still selling a few cars here - like more than the Big Three!
