We got blocked from VegSource for about a year and got out of the habit of checking the boards. Don't get here much these days. Lots of venom, slow pages, trouble with it crashing my browser, looks like the flame room is the most civil board these days.

I've been busy at church... We finally got a new priest (after a couple of YEARS of looking and transitioning) I was on the search committee, while Audrey was on the vestry. The search got finished and Audrey's term was up, so they asked if I wanted to be on the vestry. (uh ... no?) Now we have some evenings at home again.

I got volunteered for the alter guild, so now we have the only church I know of where the token "scary biker dude" is also the "little old lady who irons the linens". Been trying to cut down on acolyting, but the priest says there is no 12 step program for the liturgically addicted ("Hello, my name is Werp and I am a 50 year old alter boy") I think priests are enablers.

We lost Cedar dog a couple of years ago. He was 18. Still miss him. But we got Wiley dog a few weeks ago, so we are busy with a new one. (His picture is over on the canine forum under animal concerns follow the link.)

Audrey has gotten into learning Irish (getting quite good at it), Wild-child has gotten into her teens (she was already good at being a teenager when you saw her at 9, so she is an expert now)

Still up in the redwoods, still like it a lot.
