We had a meeting at church and one night the speaker spoke about homosexuality. After it was over, I thought to myself that he really didn't speak to his audience. What about his speech would have made any of us examine *ourselves* - which is what we are supposed to do, imo. (disclaimer: This is a teeny-tiny congregation - I wouldn't have felt so sure about my claim had it been in a much larger venue)

Sorry I haven't checked back in on this discussion in a while - I thought it was dead. This is the only place to discuss abortion and that's why I posted the original piece here but I'd like to see this board active again.
