I know it's tiny by comparison, but it sounds a little like the billions and billions ripped off by the GOP from Iraq, the vast corruption and lack of accountability of the administration and all the big companies those guys are involved with, to whom they gave no-bid contracts with no oversight.

I agree it's sickening what the GOP and Bush have done to rob the treasury and give little in return to the public. Same thing happening in New Orleans now, where contracts for temporary schools are given to Bush cronies who charge 60% more than the school district could get the same temporary buildings directly.
