The Popular Mechanics piece (written by Benjamin Chertoff -- dept of homeland security and Neocon Michael Chertoff's cousin and another US-Israeli citizen) has been roundly debunked, not that this is a matter of any interest to someone like you. For christ's sake, you're a republican! 'Nuff said.

There have been Books written shooting Popular Mechanics "science" full of holes. You can find any number of articles on this, if you actually cared about anything of importance.

I know the GOP is perfectly happy with a Congressional investigation. Any reasonable person prefers criminal investigations with experts knowledgeable about facts and science... like maybe one with 411 professional engineers and architects.
