Ran the San Diego Half Marathon on 19 Aug. My Daughter-in-law and I got up at 0400 and drove to Balboa Park; then they bussed us out to Point Loma for the start.
Of the 8,000 people who signed up, only 6,625 came across the finish line.
My time wasn't as good as the Hickam half, but I still managed to get an age-group third place.
