I am in a similar situation. The cat brought a baby cedar waxwing into the
house this morning. It was missing a few feathers but there were no wounds
or blood. I have fed it cherries and blueberries. It's more than a few
days old but not more than a week. I am guessing here. I'm wondering how
long before I should release it.
