Hi all,
I'm 20 year old and have been vegetarian since 14.
I didn't grow to become bulky or big and I still have the same slender thin body I had when I was a young teen, which is not something I complain about. (speaking of which I'm pretty sure my diet helped me to avoid weird growth spurts so I grew slowly maintaining body proportions)
The problem is that I lack muscular tone and still have fat in my abdomen. I regret waiting so long to find a solution because I could have had a better body and probably health had I tried to get rid of my abdominal fat years ago.
According to certain websites I should bulk up, lift heavy barbells and eat lot of meat. Of course I don't want any of this. I don't care if they think at my age I should be bigger and less boyish, I don't want to be big and bulky and such physique would just not suits my personality and I also think maintaining a teen physique will allow me to increase my longevity, relying on less calories and having more flexibility.
So what I'm looking for is an approach to tone my muscles without adding lot of mass and to lose abdominal fat and have a flat tummy. I'd like to know how to change my diet and what exercises to do to achieve this.
Thank you!
