Subject:	duration of menstrual cycle and weight loss

I lost 5.5kgs over a period of 5 months(height- 5 feet and weight 65kgs now) . The duration of menustrual cycle has gone down to 21-23 days from 28 days. has it got anything to do with the loss of weight?
