I have flat feet, and I love to walk and jog. I'm 16 yo. Lately, I've been trying to get back into shape after not being all that active for a few years. For the past few weeks I've been walking 6 miles daily, at a pace of maybe 3 mph., a moderate pace for me. I went out on a jog after stretching for 10 min. and before I had gone three blocks, my shins and calves were practially crying out in pain. I felt like they were severly bruised and I had to turn back and limp my way home. My shins and calves always hurt when I go for even a short walk, but this was beyond any pain I had previously felt. Do you think my flat feet could have a hand in this? Would arch supports maybe help? Any other suggestions, comment would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks,
Lauren
